We found at least three lots of unsold and unsellable Ford Broncos thanks to a tip from a viewer who spotted them while driving by. Thousands upon thousands of trucks baking in the hot summer sun, all of them stuck there for months gathering dust.

The Waygo Kid says:

Bronco’s seem to still be in demand. Not sure if dealer markups are slowing sales down or not. Farley talked about the dozens of different systems that Ford outsources for these vehicles. If one or two are missing chips Ford can’t substitute a new chip and update the firmware. Each system has proprietary intellectual property that Ford can’t alter or copy. Vertical integration is a double edged sword and this is one downside of not owning your own technology.

Jordan says:

Job well done. You are now ready for the next step of evolution. Your Neural-Link awaits.

Scott Rawdin says:

You are looking at this from the wrong end of the binoculars ! "Ford makes trucks for real people who do real things" said jokingly (while gasping) – just havalook at our inventory waiting for the owners to pick them up ! (is what he thought so hard you can see them !)

Charles Pichan says:

Don't know much about this situation. ( From my perspective, FORD may be the only survivor.)

theo says:

Over the years, we have seen massive lots of Japanese cars sitting int he hot sun down in Florida. Logistics.

jens geysen says:

I came across a video that discussed the existence of a car graveyard in China. According to the video, there were claims that China intentionally produced an excessive number of electric cars that were never actually sold. Supposedly, this strategy was employed to boost the overall count of EVs sold. I sincerely hope that this information is false and that the situation is not as described.

Phil Cunix says:

It is not a demand issue… It is a transportation issue. Not enough driver's for the amount of trucks needed to ship them out. I am in sales at a Ford Dealership. I watch our individual locations vehicles get parked there and wait for trucking companies to pick them up. The better question (Instead of trying t throw shade at Ford) is why is there such a shortage of drivers and truck available for vehicle transport? The roughly 6 to 7k Broncos sitting between the 3 locations represents only about 3% to 4% of the years production.

David Will says:

You might want to look into the train shortage for a reason why all these cars aren't moving out to dealerships.

Nanaimo Shoe Repair says:

That's been happening for years.

Charlie Fox says:

You know I would gladly consider a bronco in an EV and using the Tesla charging network. … ok, not much help.

tech 52 says:

Lol, at 3:45 he becomes a 1st Amendment, civil rights photographer. I kept waiting for the black and white to show up.

Frunkenstein says:

Ford started designing the Bronco when Model 3 came out. Ford can’t recover lost time.

Charles Jungk says:

Um – why do we keep subsidizing the Fossilized politician industry?

woodsaw64 says:
