That's why I love my old Chevy's side post battery.
Literally no maintenance required.
Thanks this is simple maintenance that will keep ur vehicle running smoothly
2013 Taurus owner, Lip of the entire trunk lid rusted out in year five. Ford makes crap cars nowadays.
My 03 ranger had no corrosion on the positive terminal but stopped my truck from starting until I replaced it
Voltage drop to the ECU causes all kind of havoc… Many many cars suffer from this.
Fords are ridiculous with their electrical needs under normal load. Back in '95-'97 i had an '84 Continental slant-back with the 302, probably 140hp. One day it was running so badly i thought i needed a transmission. Got almost stranded in a supermarket parking lot once night, some helpful dudes were assisting me in jumping the battery for nearly an hour before it would start. Had to drive home with both feet so it wouldn't shut off. My mechanic was only 4 blocks from my house so the next morning I got it over there.
Literally all it needed was a new battery smh.
Fords will run like dogsxht with a bag battery.
As a Canadian trucker, we do this every year around fall. Starter aswell bc they are easy to reach on trucks
Did he change the battery
Man my ford was sputtering and I think maybe cheap gas but I pop the hood and clean the battery and now it's running like when I first got it. Thanks man!
Those terminals are expensive too!
That's so true
Much love brother! Keep up the good work
Can you help me answer this , so I have a 2012 VW CC Sport 2.0t 4 cylinder so every time I come to a complete stop or less say I’m taking off like accelerating and going to do a right turn left turn etc I heard like a knock / bell noises coming out my I believe my right side tire can that be a axle? Or something worst
