You don’t need breaks just downshift they are luxury. I drove my old pickup when hothead break hose snapped and I had to drive without breaks once.

They should put a very hefty fine on recalls.
It would make the manufactures overbuild the vehicles instead of making it just barely good enough to get past warranty.
So mad at those bean counters. Pinching two pennies per car shaving a millimeter of steel from the bracket. Sad state of affairs
We listened and got rid of our 2016 Kia Rio and got a 2011 Rav4 with 130,999 KM.We're loving it!

Fred Flintstone never had that problem in Bedrock. Fred had no brakes ,no engine ,just his feet.
I had a 96 2.3l ranger. One day while merging onto the freeway, the gas pedal pedestal broke off. I could not accelerate or operate the throttle. Pulled to the shoulder and inspected it, the pedestal spot welds to the body had given out. Drove 4 self tappers into the base, one on each corner. Took off and never had problems again. Check your pedestal welds.
Good thing I have a good ol 3v
Ford also has a huge problem with their 6 cylinder engines found in the Ford Flex , Ford Edge and Ford explorer.
The water pump does not have required maintenance.
Ford says it will last the "life of the engine" YEAH RITE!
when the pump goes the motor is toast and will cost you between 5-8 thousand Canadian to repair.
However it still a costly part to get to because it's in the middle of the engine!

When you go in for the free recall fix, what is the chance the dealer will also hand you a printout of necessary and recommended repairs that are out-of-warranty already? Look! The plastic is faded on the headlights!
Ford, another recall? Really? But Scotty says buy a Ford.
Oh my goodness ford ugh. Something as simple as a break pedal. I'm never buying a ford again it's getting too cheap!!!
