For this Steve’s Garage video I replace sway bar end links on a 2nd gen Ford Escape. This video should apply to any 08-12 Ford Escape, Mercury Mariner, or Mazda Tribute. In addition to Ford Escape end link replacement, I touch on diagnosing a bad end link. As far as diagnosing a bad end link, it would apply to any vehicle, not just a Ford Escape. The Ford Esacpe I’m working on is a 6cyl FWD model. I have worked on both 4cyl and 6cl Ford Escapes and the suspension design/style is the same. I do not know if there is a size difference. Please double check all sizes of your tools and hardware before you start removing end links on a Ford Escape.

Please comment if you have any questions regarding the replacement, installation or diagnostics of front end links. As I state in the video, diagnostics of front suspension over the internet can be tricky. There is no replacement for getting under your Ford Escape and inspecting the suspension to correctly diagnose any issues you think you have.
