Jofus73 says:

Great videos man! Any advice on tightening my emergency brake (06 Mustang GT), thanks in advance!

faithtango says:

Man if I knew about the threaded caliper before I started going crazy and throwing tools. Thanks for the awesome info…made it easier.

Patrick Ward says:

GREAT INFORMATION!. Just wondering what happened with the rotor clip. Did you put a new one on? or is it uneeded?

Doug Green says:

When they have a built in emergency brake in the caliper they have to be rotated back in.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Doing my wife’s rear brakes today and never ran into caliper pistons that had to be rotated in before. Thanks again.

windfreak33 says:

Thank you!! I’m doing the rear brakes on a GT right now and couldn’t for the life of me figure out why the caliper wouldn’t go all of the way on after I put the new pads on–I did not know about aligning the notches on the piston like that. I swear it’s almost always something super simple like that whenever I hit a snag on a DIY project. You’re a lifesaver!

waynejourney1 says:

Hey thanks man, wife got the bad news that she needed rear and front brakes during a state inspection, would of costed us over 800.00 dollars at the shop.
I did plenty of brakes before, but lost my confidence over the years, you gave it back to me and we were able to save a ton on this inconvience.
well done video, thank you.

718mattmatt says:

great vid man, i just got an 07 v6 mustang and im going to replace all 4 of the brakes, and im 16 the only thing im scared of is doing it wrong and they will go out on me while im driving

s14sr says:

“PUMP THE BRAKES!” With great enthusiasm. Great video. Is that a residential lift? What brand is that?

Roy Jones says:

Very good video. It shows how easy it is to replace brakes. However, I would caution amateurs not to test brakes with your children in the car. The person in the video is oboviously a professional mechanic.

Gatorsrok says:

EXACTLY…… Thank you finally someone understands…..

Gatorsrok says:

are u a dumbass….. watch the fuckin video….

roadragecustoms says:

How is this not the rear? Did you watch it all?

war32978 says:

Uh, you can clearly see the muffler… if that’s on the front of your car, pointing forward, you have more pressing needs than a brake job.

qlosedqasket says:

Nice job on the tutorial man, it was very helpfull.

goldengaze22 says:

Wait, this isn’t the rear brakes, it’s the front!!
I need to change the REAR BRAKES!!
Please make a new video for REAR BRAKES
ON A 2007 MUSTANG

brewerjason says:

First, thanks for a GREAT video! Really helped in changing out my pads and rotors on my 04 Mustang.

I have a question… When I’m coasting in the Mustang i get a grind coming from the rear end. Only when I’m not breaking or not accelerating. At first I thought it was something between the pad and rotor causing friction but everything looks clean. Could it be a wheel bearing? Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

green97probe says:

Thanks for posting this video. I didn’t know about the pistons needing to be turned in. The tool to do that is available from Harbor Freight for around $40.

bludika says:

Quick question bro, regarding the brake piston, my car is the same as yours, needs to be pushed and turned at the same time, do I just need to retract the piston back in just enough for the new pads to fit or do I need to retract it ALL the way in until it no longer retracts? Thanks

nicotinekingpin says:

whats the name of the brake caliper tool you used?

MisterFusion113 says:

Nice video, good job.

Jerry Castellanos says:

@roadragecustoms
thank you so much for your video saved me hundreds!!!!!

montyhades says:

This is crazy man, I followed all the steps, first time mustang owner and first time doing some type of job, but I really wanted to save money, it took me about 4 to 5 hours for the job, but it was better than paying $350, it costed me only around $100 and all the parts go them at amazon. Thank you for the video!!

Mustang Medic says:

Nice work guys, we must UNITE Mustang lovers I mean.

bradshawisme1 says:

something to point out and never do. NEVER LET THE CALIPER HANG ONLY BY THE HOSE that hose was not to be hung and could lead to damage

mike leger says:

thanks now i understand

sharpe427 says:

Should never hang a caliper by the hose; but overall a good job.

ewmalmbe says:

Enjoyed your video. Great refresher with tips along the way. Nicely done!! I am a fan.

roadragecustoms says:

Ford dealer parts dept. should be able to get them, if they don’t have them in stock.

roadragecustoms says:

What year of a Mustang are you having trouble finding an E-brake cable for?

roigmatthewe says:

Oh my mustang was bought used with the left side ebrake cable completely gone and rightside fraying. Took it offf to prevent any issuses with it snapping later, only problem is i cant find the cables anywhere i look.
