Cool mate! Thanks for the video.
Eric I love the front plate also what size are those orange jack stands that you used?
wow finally a ford LOL
Darn eye seeking dirt missiles ……. Never fails
Can the clutch on a 1990 Honda Accord LX be adjusted? If you have any ideas could you hit me back on that thanks man
Leave MCM out of this they are just pure and absolute awesomeness. They just provide info in a more entertaining way. Not to bring down Eric in any way you cant compare the two shows as they aim to provide info in two different ways.
yeah Eric what is the best clutch brand and manual transmission oil for ford focus 2000 2.0 single cam, i know there’s too many of them, but i’m just asking what do you recommend well last longer,
Hello
Where the Crankshaft position sensor ?
“u arent never safe” so in other words your always safe
Ford owns Mazda. I’ve been under a lot of Mazdas and all of them have the FoMoCo stamp on everything. So basically you’re driving a “Japanese” Ford.
i have a mazda 323 that i plan to do a clutch on in some stage of it’s life. i hope mazda’s are good unlike fords…..
Converting something to itself isnt converting. Replacing an engine is just replacing. Swapping an engine to something different might be a conversion.
Hah ! Great vids… Brake-jobs are lookin’ easier after watching. If I ever thought about a used Focus with standard trans they are now no longer no my list.
Too hard for me, but good to watch a pro
if your engine broke and you replace it with the same model, yes it is a conversion. everything else is a mod
True, but looking at the prices that old cars are going for I’d never pay those prices for an old car. I used to pick up a Mk3 Cortina for £50 and run around in it until the MOT ran out, mind you this was back in the 80’s. But I still can’t fathom out why people pay £2000 for a Mk3 Cortina.
An excellent reason to own a older car from times much simpler.
SAMEEEEE
they use to sell them when i was a kid but no moreee :[
This Ford doesn’t seem to be as maintenance friendly as say a Honda or Toyota.
I didn’t hear anything he said in the beginning…just legs dancing, legs dancing, legs dancing…
Done a few transmissions. Ford Freestar comes to mind… Nothing fun about taking it apart or putting it together… Even with a lift.
is engine conversion just a mod???nahhh
mighty car mods are mods…not repairs know what you are looking at first.. mcm is awesome
Excellent video Eric, 20 years ago I did all my own repairs but these modern cars have me stumped, this looks like a right pig of a job. I used to be able to do a clutch on a Ford Cortina in about 4 hours. I wouldn’t have a clue about this Focus. I have a Mondeo now and I open the bonnet, look at the mess and close the bonnet. Let someone else do it.
Never mind a lift Eric get some wheel chocks! Stay safe 😉
Thumbs up if your a focusear
Step 1: Read the manufacturer’s service manual. 😉
An Haynes Manual aint got shit on this, thanks alot man appreciated
Incredibly, you can easily save 50% and up off the expense of vehicle insurance right now, just by taking a few moments to find out about a quick technique. Insurance agencies dislike us for revealing this… Look into the internet site now!

thanks Eric you are an inspiration to I’ll mechanics including me who is still learning but catching up quick so keep up the good work.
Why didn’t you add adds every 20 minutes. Cash for you. And I don’t mind
true, when I have nothing to do, I come and see Eric’s videos, he’s just a good honest mechanic.
I realised after I feel stupid lol
That might be an Elvis clock.
thumbs up for the gangnam style clock in the beginning (Y)
how do you bleed the clutch?
