When we bought the Salvage Ferrari 458 Iturdia, the AC was not working. So I had Josh from Exotic Power & Performance come over and help fix it. Turns out that after chasing down all sorts of possible causes, all it needed was a simple proxy alignment of the body module! Who would have ever guessed that. We accomplished the proxy alignment using my Launch X431 computer. Link below if you need to buy one.

So how does the proxy alignment work on the Launch X431? Does it let you enable features that aren't enabled from the factory? The Ferrari dealer told me that they had to purchase the proxy updates from Ferrari to have retrofitted features enabled.
Dan, good video. Would you say its easier / possible to access the front parking sensors by removing the luggage tub rather than removing the front bumper ?
Josh "F you, mother Fer, you're getting a bill" too funny!
So is the AC more complicated on this car vs a Toyota.
Some may not but I remember when three computers, alignments and adaptations weren't required to turn on a refrigerant pump. Yup….
I love your channel Dan and everything with Josh in is really my favorite. Happy Holidays and thank you for all the great videos.
As someone who works on airplanes, cars, motorcycles, and houses as a "hobby" on a regular basis, I can say that Josh's "verbal critique" of the situation hits very close to home. Upside down, underneath the instrument panel, rigging microswitches, with your back contorted like a circus acrobat, is not exactly a joy inducing activity. Or digging mud out of an electrical connector on a motorcycle with a "clean" title can cause the "colorful adjectives" to take flight. Yet despite the mechanically driven verbal assault, the job gets done. Josh, you are the wind beneath my wings.
Great video! I appreciate Josh’s attention to details and insights. Very professional and thorough! I would definitely use his services if I had an exotic car!
Is it sold ?
Love Josh and he really know his stuff. He is a grumpy old man. Cracks me up.
I would buy that F on a heart beat! I just like cars looking like trash! Ahahahah! Good one guys!
Dan, nice video – gets back to your roots of why you started this channel – how to fix and maintain Ferraris
The only person richer than a (Ferrari) Lamborghini owner is his mechanic-Hoovie
Havn’t been watching the entire series on Hoovies former car. did he buy it as a Salvage and destroyed it even more just for more views or was it in OK shape and he trashed the car than put it up for sale?? With all due respect I TRIED to watch his channel, nothing special, I like your channel much much better, keep up the good work Dan
Can you tell us which model lift you have? 8’ ceilings? Did you have to reinforce the concrete?
Great video. please tell Josh, Unless He zeros the bill for this fix, we are going to dislike the video. Let’s see if Josh responds well to blackmail or threats from viewers. Let us know what he says and if he agrees to not to charge you.
Damn Josh is smart..
Always enjoy a Josh-filled episode!
Some deep knowledge of Ferrari's to discover a easy fix. Joah knows this info from experience. Dan you know the right person to hopefully come to a resolution.
Love my mechanic Josh Hill! He takes amazing care of my Alfa Romeo 4C Spider!
