I sold Adam Sandler a new Jaguar XJ8 back in the day. His brother is a lawyer, and looks just like him just chunkier, and said that was going to be his parents anniversary gift. True story.

Dragineez Too says:

You should catch some M539 videos. Done a ton of fuel pump replacements and rebuilds on BMWs that look far harder (though no drop top removal). Great tips and tricks on how to do it right. A strap wrench is a great tool, just not for that application.

Bernard Crane says:

Ratchet straps are a little sketchy. Heavier duty would be safer. Watch your fingers!

David Dennett says:

Being a Volvo technician for some odd 18 years I've done dozens of these style fuel pumps, the best ones to replace ate the ones in the XC90 suv (sarcasm) because you have to literally take out all the rear interior (middle row seats back) then the level sensor is on the other side and plugs into the pump. So you have to snake the harness over and usually id have to bury my arms elbow deep into the tank and of course the customer had just filled upI So of course I got to smell like gasoline all day

John Z says:

You know I am really tired of you auto you tubers wasting my time with your constant dead batteries. Jeez I ( we) invest our time watching your videos and almost every time there is a break in time to charge or replace battery with a used one. But a new battery please.

Manual top conversion

shawn fortine says:

If possible if I where you I’d switch the top with a top that has an access port

Chill Will says:

Very surprising that the NHTSA has not taken interest in this issue. Also, why could you not simply cut an access hole exactly like the newer cars have?

Kyle Arruda says:

Spanner wrench on the bigger hydraulic pistons to remove the locking collar

Vatechguy3 says:

Have you thought about adding the fuel pump accesses to your convertible top assembly?

Clearanceman2 says:

This video is great, you are explaining step by step like there are going to be people out there changing their own Ferrari 360 fuel pumps. "Pause the video, I didn't see exactly what he did." Going to say 99% of owners of these cars are going to take their car into a Ferrari dealer. Perhaps since these things are older, maybe not the dealer but at least a "Ferrari specialist." I could be wrong but I can't imagine many people out there tearing these things apart themselves.

Clearanceman2 says:

Let's take a minute to appreciate Italian (and German) marketing. The heck with the engineering, the marketing convinced millions of people these cars are not just good cars but great cars. Almost every VW owner still thinks their vehicle is a race car because of all the years of farfegnugen or however the hell you spell it. Marketing really does work well.

Brian Whelan says:

Its like a petrol bomb waiting for a spark no wonder you have so many subscribers saving life's and the money pit that comes with these cars but we all still love them and you show with good maintenance and research you can try not set yourself on fire keep up the good tips and cost savings on parts

kjellakjella says:

What, no stepmom on the helix

Johnny Onetime says:

What happend to the viper ?

Ahmed Almurshidi says:

Do you know that if you pushed down on those fuel pump holders, it would be much easier to unscrew the big rings without using the pry bar and the hammer?

kenneth talbott says:

always enjoy your vids sam. i'm doing similar stuff on my jags. replaced the ''o'' rings on my rams for the hood, not sure how to do yours but i'm sure you'll find away.
