i’ve been thinking about this product for a while, but i never pull the
trigger because they don’t have an exact method to measure the size of the
tire letters already embossed on the car (assuming you just want the
lettering of the actually tire, like Yokohoma, or Pirelli). I hope they
come out with a system so that you can you just imput your tire size, and
they automatically calculate the correct size of the decals that will fit
your sidewall…That would be totally tits. Good episode though…I def
think i’m gonna grab a set now
These two bums talk a lot of bullshit, but they’re just selling you rubber
to glue on rubber.

Can I use this to make whitewalls in any size?
In the 80’s every tire you got had white letters on them. Last time I got
tires for the jeep it was black walls and the jeep looked like some kid
with daddys black loafers on. It needed the white letters to make the
tires look like it fit properly on the car.
Awesome episode, been waiting for this forever since i saw this on your car
at caffeine and carburetors a couple months back.
yeah this is totally sweet…..BUT not for $120 or more lol they’re out of
their minds… I mean they are just little pieces of rubber… still cool
but I can’t justify spending $30 on each tire when those tires are probably
only lasting me one summer if I’m lucky.
What kind of speeds and temperatures can this stand up to?
So what about when the tyres are due for replacement? Guessing you have to
get new decals.
Honestly the “special vulcanized rubber” just looks like the fabric from
inflatable boats…

What it coincidence or OCD that the front and rear tires had the letters on
the same position when showing the result? :)
As people get through tires, its going to be a pain to redo them every
coupe of months or bi-yearly. If tire wear is like few years this product
is pretty fine.

What goes around comes around. White letter tires were cool, and everyone
sold ’em so then they weren’t. Wonder if this trend will get the
manufacturers to offer lettered tires again? I’d love some yellow lettered
Pirellis on my car.

Not sure if this is something you’d dabble into, but I am curious about
reupholstering seats. Personally, my rx7 seats are dated and starting to
tear. A fresh new material with the same factory comfort would be a great
option.
