Apart from being too lazy to remove the wheel and simply popping the centre out – undamaged!
They can still be found. Took me a good weekish to source them for my Dad’s buddy who needed them after a restoration job.
Yes you are right, if you dont need your old ones. i found in a dealer here in manchester, ferrari carbon fibre wheel caps with anaglyph silver horse. what do you think ?? would it look nice ?
why dont just remove the wheel and pop it out from the inside ? by doing this you can keep your old caps unscratched..
The old style ones are *not* available anymore, that’s the type they are drilling into. If you are changing to the new style then please DON’T use this method of removal. I took the old style ones off my ferrari after one of them got broken and put them away in a very safe place. It was awhile ago and I think I carefully removed them with a slightly blunt screwdriver under the edge. please keep he old style ones safe. I wouldn’t buy a ferrari without them!
These new replacement caps are indeed very nice. Installation is just as easy as they show it. They were also very helpful when I bought a horn compressor for my 1985 308QV from them, They sell oem parts and really know their stuff!
