Jonny once again tackles replacing the convertible top on a Ferrari Spider. This time around it’s Tyler Hoover’s F355.
Although the F355 top was MUCH easier to do than Jonny’s 360, it was still a complete pain.
Jonny has vowed that this was the last convertible top he’s ever going to do. So don’t ask!
Man, I thought the Sebring I did was bad..lol
That looks like a very tedious job Jonny. I imagine that is very expensive when you figure how much labor is involved. Nice job!
I can't feel my fingers watching you peel and peel. Do the seats have rollover protection? That spiderweb frame, yikes!
Your hands will be in pain tomorrow.
What a nightmare !!!
I hope You charged the customer a proper amount. That is a ton of work….With as consciousness as You are You should charge full price. No Discounts for a pain in the neck job like that!
This video deserves so many more views. Incredible work bratish. Maladetz.
gr8 job… now off to do mine wish me luck…lol
Man, you do some amazing stuff. By the way I have to tell you that since you do not film yourself you are really good. I know that you are camera shy, you have a neck for it.- Filming and making vlogs. Maybe because you explain everything well, a that is because you know what you are doing. Thanks it is entertaining, believe me.
Ninja, stick to what you're best at.
Leave that for an interior and top expert.
You can't be good at everything.
Thank you for showing the Weldwood cement! I have a glued seam separating on my Saturn Sky top and I've been asking everyone I know what to use to repair it. If it's good enough for you to use on Ferraris, it should be more than good enough for me and my Saturn.
Clearly Tyler didn't notice the big words on the front of your garage. Especially the GERMAN part lol long tedious jobs that make you bitch and moan the entire time always feel the best when they come out great haha my hands hurt just watching
now you know why tthese freaking cars so expensive!! it takes forever to put them together!! i think even after 100 of them you're still swearing!
Top turned out fantastic you done a great job
Great job Jonny, methodical with no mistakes, Tyler should be very happy with that!
Thanks for posting.
Nice, I'm not looking forward to doing this job on my 1991 BMW 325iC, but I will figure it out. I think I'll have my F355 in GTB configuration anyway.
ROFL!!! Ben totally PWND himself.
Tyler strikes again
the last one ever!
After getting a quote of $3k to replace the top of my 23 year old Musta I replaced to myself with a Robbins top. It wasn't too bad and I would do it agsin. $350 and a Saturday, but I paid the extra money to have the rain rail already installed. Looks like that was worth $100.
For jobs like this I wear 7 mil nitrile gloves, saves your fingers.
My Mom and I replaced the top on my 1965 Alfa Spider Veloce.
The talent and work ethics of a true craftsman!
you asked for it and now you got it …you got a ferrari. A more expensive piece of do do.
The best rubber cement is Barge you use that it will never come apart
Always marvel at the stupidity of Italian engineering
