Zach Wentworth says:

Gotta love all the “pro detailers” on here that have nothing better to do
then criticize a simple buff an old car up video looks like a totally
different car seal that thing up!

JuampixDDD says:

you’re going to eat all the paint man, if you’re seeing that the paint is
going on the towel, it’s because you already buffed all the clear coat, and
now you’re taking off the paint, if you take 1 or 2 buffs more, there will
be only metal in there

cgavin1 says:

Wouldn’t it be better to put a high gloss resin over that now?

Eric Schoeters says:

i am very sorry for you bro but you dont know nothing ,cause 1 you should
of buff the car with some compond 2.0 diamond cut ,and then buff it again
with some glaze (witch brings back the original coler and shine ) and only
then do the wax , It is wat we call a 3 steps compond plus you dont know
the way too buff always in the longer movements ,anyway you is not a
professional ,and i am ….

Patrick Salmon says:

He is doing the best with what he’s got and what he been taught.
.BUT Noone seemed it good enough to point out.
YOU SHOUTCAST ONLY EVER BUFF THE CLEAR. If it’s white then it’s clear. But
if your getting on your pad what he’s getting on your pad then your buffing
colour.
YOU NEVER BUFF OR WAX A BASE COAT.
So all you apparent Experts Do t know shit either.

You lot should always follow 1 simple rule.
It is better to be thought if as an idiot then to open your mouth and
confirm it.

Jason Anderson says:

When someone puts you down…. Take it like a man! Don’t put them down too.
We all would respect you more if you didn’t blow up on random trolls. Btw I
like your videos and so do 595,986 other people. So I wouldn’t worry if
your style of buffing is not up to the standards of a TROLL

Martin Olsvoll says:

To all the people who say he is doing this wrong, and stuff like that.
Can’t you understand that he is running a business? He is not trying to
make his cars like show cars, he is trying to make them look better, and
worth more.

Mark Davis says:

You are the real deal. 800 + videos and you are making money. Don’t worry
about negative comments, especially from someone who hasn’t mastered the
English language.

Maxxis1992 says:

Hmm. Still doesn’t look good. You should use something like Menzerna FG400
if you just want a one step polish. It would be much better. My old civic
looked like new. And the paint was also very shitty.

Holly Nites says:

You did good. Looks a lot better then when you started. Let someone else
spend all their time and money making a old car look pretty again. Its a
used car for christs sake.

Dave Cooper says:

The guys an animal i tell yer an animal !!!

DM More Fire says:

I am not a pro but using a plain towel on a car is not a good idea

M Danahey says:

I remember buffing a brand new mitsu 3000GT VR4 back in the day. The car
was new and stickered at 45 grand, which is about 70 grand in todays
money…I couldn’t believe the car wasn’t cleared, but the 15k eclipses
were…

mesothorium says:

I appreciate that you are putting this out but in all honestly, a lot of
topics could be touched here prior to polishing, specially with a rotary. .
.
For example, always make sure that the car is cleaned, and i mean super
clean prior to polishing.
The less gunk and grit you take along the better the finish.
Claying is also a good step to take thou not necessary.

After Polishing, check for swirls made by the polish, some polishes are
more aggressive as compared to others, so if you have swirls in the paint
inflicted by the heavy polish, further refine polish by using a lesser cut
pad and a milder polish.
Only when the swirls are removed, move on to sealants.
Sealants are synthetic wax-like products that provide a much better
protection as compared to regular Wax.
After that you can apply a very thin wax layer for added shine and
protection.

Also using a rotary as opposed to a DA (orbital) is a huge step, and can be
damaging if not used correctly, Burn through paint and what not. For the
beginner a DA is recommended, and a rotary is really meant for the heavier
work.

Polishing looks easy, and it is. But a lot more is going into it then meets
the eye (no pun intended).

Don’t take this as a slag-off, just some helpful tips.

albert chavez says:

DON’T EVER POLISH OUT YOUR CAR LIKE THIS!

gruponemesis says:

you are amazing sir

Jessie Gutierrez says:

“thats what she said” lol xD

Chasingerrors says:

Everyones a Critic I can do it better but you don’t see them posting any
videos. why because WE ALL SUCK THAT’S WHY WE WATCH YOUTUBE.

Miguel Gomes says:

I’ll just say this: what a butcher…

Twolaze Blue says:

i never liked those cars, but that one i like

Osama Alhamadani says:

I liked ur beard

M Danahey says:

He isnt doing wrong, but clearcoat didnt become standard on everything til
2000…

nicky chavda says:

Sorry, thanks for the video as it teaches the world what NOT to do.

cgminds M says:

He bored out the clear coat! lol plop

sean says:

Not trying to be an asshole – but this is completely wrong.

First and foremost this is a two stage paint that did come from the factory
with clearcoat. The clear has long since tarnished and faded away, nothing
we can do about that.

You came in guns a blazing on paint that probably had .25 – .3mm to the
metal left. The right way to do this would be:

1) wash car with dish soap
2) clay car
3) wet sand with 2000 grit lightly
4) do a 3 over rough cut with a green pad and plenty of medium light cut
compound
5) Polish with fine light cut pad at 1200 rpm
6) seal the entire car with sealer
7) wax car

what you did here won’t last a year. Feel free to call me a douche I’m just
trying to help guys who are going to do this and use the last cut their
paint has.

Chasingerrors says:

Pride of ownership on that car was non existing. sad you had to buff the
life back into it.

Darren Jones says:

Is this an actual joke

Dave Cooper says:

What no water !!!

badazzone1 says:

he is into the base coat, he destroyed the paint lololololol.

Nassir Daoud says:

I enjoyed it , was very helpful. I wish you would have shown how to do the
bumpers and how to get the contours.

aode06 says:

you did good, but you were better off wet sanding that car and having it
repainted, it needs a paint job. Those compounds wear off in a month or so.
