I have 2014 dodge avenger 2.4 I drove almost 215 k miles ‘ no issues at all just oil change n brakes pads
dodges are overrated
My wife & I had had a 2012 Avenger SXT plus with the 3.6L. We had 320,000 miles on it until our daughter in law totaled it
I hate those things
The best advice to follow in life if you want to have peace of mind is to stay away from Dodge and Chrysler vehicles.
I've had a 2000 Dodge Avenger since 2002 and it's never given me a problem. I've paid a total of $5,000 in repairs during the entire time I've owned it. It now has 157,000 mi on it
I drove some like that and they acted up.

I owed a 09 avenger 4 cylinder for 13 years 135k, It was fast, no problem entering a highway at 70 80 or 90. Beautiful car no problems.
I have one, I actually like it. It's cheap interior wise, but the 2.4L has been reliable. I bought it (2014 model) in May 2018 at 49,500 miles. It as of August 2023 has almost 77k.
Had one for years. Loved it and never gave me any trouble.
Dodge is junk
Get the R/T . It has the 3.5 or 3.6 if it's the 2014" model.
R/T is the only quality avenger.
2008 has a special AWD version but the parts for it are incredibly hard to find.
230 something for the 3.5
286 for the 3.6
It's pretty darn sporty
