Three Pedal Fix – Complete Four Speed Swap For My 383 Powered 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger (& Much More)

This is the swampy Swinger we sometimes call Noah’s Dart. In previous episodes, I built and installed a nasty 383 big block under the hood. The plan is to plant an A833 four speed behind that engine – but to this point, the transmission hanging in the car has been nothing more than an empty case. Today, we install a real gearbox, then go through all of the rest of the steps to make this monstrous A-body move under its own power.

Watching you take rusted bits of metal which might or might not be useable and then USE them successfully is alternatively astounding and inspiring. I better understand human ingenuity simply by staring open-mouthed at you making junk work. Thanks, I like it a lot.
