#DodgeChallengerScatPack #Dodge #JBL

I wanted more bass for my Dodge Challenger Scat Pack so I decided to install a JBL GT PRO 12 inch subwoofer in my car. This sub is powered and has the amp already part of the box.

Jonathan Sheats says:

how do u connect the ground and power wire into the speaker/into the battery and onto the ground wire?

Anthony Pellot says:

With no remote wire what turns the amp off?

Big D BassN says:

Great video thanks a lot for posting. I'm going to be doing this in my 21 Scat Pack. I have the basic Alpine system, not the upgraded one as you do. Do you know the differences in the 2 systems? I'm assuming all of my speakers are the same as the upgraded Alpine system except that I do not have a sub woofer and an amp.

I see on your high level in on the back of the box you have a left and a right. That would lead me to believe that you need to tap into both the left and right speakers. You only tapped into one correct? Why did you choose to do it that way? Does it make any difference if you only tap into one speaker?

Also how did you determine which speaker wires in the car were positive and which was negative? Thanks again!

Allen Inhphom says:

Hi, what is wrapped in the electrical tape in the back of the sub? I’ve never done a T Tap before and it looks way easier then running RCAs

Stephen Coffin says:

Thank you for showing tapping into the speakers nobody else has shown that

narliza 2002 says:

Hi is this single magnet or double ?

christian araujo says:

I want to learn how to install my subs for my challenger so bad

Kamren says:

So how did you connect it to the ignition? I’m assuming with the way you connected this, the amp is pulling constant power from the battery.

hobo cop says:

I've watched every video for the GT basspro12 and this one is on point for the way my brain processes information (like an idiot). Also, was that Gerry Allanguilan?

David Ford says:

Thank you for telling us which wire is neg and which one is pos…. most videos don't and it's like the most important thing!

JG Challenger says:

Great video! I'm looking to do this same install on my car. Luckily I was gifted this same subwoofer for my birthday. The link you have for the boss wiring kit has a lot of reviews of wires melting and other problems. Have you experienced any problems with the wires?
