Richard Cowtails says:

what are the symptoms of a bad pcv valve?

Mikey V says:

Nice K&N intake

palejoshua says:

Chris black the top of that valve cover is seperated from the top of the engine the valve cover has a divider in it so don’t worry that pcv peice isn’t going to get stuck in your valves or rocker arms in fact its going to be really difficult to get out considering taking the valve cover off won’t even make it accessible but I can’t imagine in would cause any harm unless the peice wound up blocking your new pcv hope this helps

Chris Black says:

mine broke off and fell inside the valve cover.. could this cause a problem later? considering the bottom half of the PCV valve doesnt go all the way into the valves but it is inside the valve cover.. somebody Help!!!!!!! please

Antrocker08 says:

thank u dude I just found out that my PVC valve was worn and I’ve been suckin oil through the intake and out the exhaust which explains the oil being low

Nice truck whys the check engine light on tho?

geRAMicc85 says:

Yes i think it broke off when i was replacing the lpg filter, good thing a pcv valve is not that expensive

spelunkerd says:

Did it break off when you tried to remove and inspect it? The heat cycles the plastic goes through seems to result in very brittle plastic as the years go by.

even though it took me only 15 sec to change mine, and i though this vid would seem like my unsccrewing a oil filter.. too easy to film. i was still impressed. good job. will be useful where poeple arent mechanic savvy. i work auto parts and for determined first time DIY customers i reccomend them to you tube haha. it is quite helpful.

Levi Heckman says:

then try a pair of channel locks…

ab330 says:

do you really have to yank it out with vice grips?…… mine doesn’t seem to want to come out by hand and I am afraid of breaking the top half off if I use too much force..
