While I’m sure it “works” the way you put the butt connectors on (I mean
twist & tape method works… it’s just not a good way to do it), it is
entirely incorrect to do it that way. Butt connectors are designed to put
the appropriate sized wire in on each side of the connector and crimp them
together for a proper connection, your method uses two wires that are
inappropriately sized for the connector, this can lead to the wires being
pulled free rather easily. Do yourself a favor though and learn to solder.
Nice, clean connections every single time and if you use a wire stripper
it’s very easy to peel back the wire jacket to tap into the harness in the
future. It’s also MUCH easier to tuck a soldered connection than a crimped
connection and, when done properly, will never fail on you.ο»Ώ
while but connectors work id highly recommend soldering and taping/heat
shrinking the wires. a much strong and more reliable connection. it also
looks cleaner and is about the same amount of time.ο»Ώ

blocks next to speaker input and it says cl-b 106j 100v do you know what
this is and where can i get it i changed them out for this capacitors
(round) and its says 10uf 100v and they were like a dollar each but it

Hey EXO my name is Dee im new to this game of sterero installs. Im looking
to build my first box of 2 15″ subs to fit in my 93 K5 want to do a box of
3 but not sure of the design. I just installed my first deck in it. Had to
run all new wires the main harness was not to be found i guess prefious
owner ripped it out for what ever reason. I already have a dual Batt setup.
Any sugg can give me or ideas or opinions on what equipment to use. Im
working on a budget so i cant shell out big dollars
