The “Bed in ” procedure is completely wrong here. If you were to do that you will burnish the brake in coating on the pads and glaze them over.

the direction of the slots doesn’t matter, it’s the direction of the cooling vanes inside the rotors that can indicate direction. If the rotor has straight vanes, the slots can point either direction, owners preference. But if the vanes are curved, then the vanes need to curve towards the rear of the vehicle. Rest assured, these rotors are mounted properly. 🙂
