I have a 2000 Dakota RT, and I am going to build the engine – heads, cam, rockers, headers throttle body and intake – very much like the black dakota you are currently building I know up front that I will not use forced induction (turbo or supercharger). I understand that with forced induction, if you do not have enough fuel delivery /pressure, the engine will run lean and burn pistons and valves. Since I am not going forced induction, the most that could happen is I lose power, right? I am looking at peripheral parts like the fuel pump. I can get a complete drop in fuel pump with regulator and sending unit (stock specs) – like a Bosh for $160. I don't think you can add an electric in-line pump to boost the fuel pressure and volume of a stock pump because you will not exceed the volume and pressure of the stock pump, right?

John Taylor says:

Are y'all using the factory fuel injector with the big cam, what's the part number on you scanner please

Chris Pickering says:

Good vid. Personally I would recommend replacing the entire fuel line with one piece up to the regulator to avoid crushing the old plastic line when you double clamp it, but I know what a PITA it is to get that regulator out the top without breaking the plastic. Keep up the good work, I've been following the magnum vids since the start.
