2006 Sport 1500, I had to replace mine also. It is a factory defect, should have been recalled. Made a complaint with Dodge, they refused to fix it.
Where did you find the cushion for $9 I've been on ebay & can't find a cushion for less than $150
Thanks for this video! Really helped. Those plastic fabric clips can be really tough to get loose, so I found it easier to just pull four simple nuts and remove the driver's seat. Mine is a 2004 with standard seats, non-electric seats.
