how bad is it to raise the engine so much, arent you afraid something else
like headers or transmission parts will be damaged from raising or lowering
engine?
no transmission and other parts couldn’t not be damaged because of this…
my son and i did the same job on his neon ,,, it was not a hard job ,,,,
except ,, the aluminum threads on two brackets where shot ,, i saved one
with a tap ,but the tension bracket had to be replaced , at an added cost
of 150dollars ,,, the car was down for a week ,, hope this did not happpen
to you ,,,, the mfger needs to put steel sleeves on most aluminum threads
,,,,, what a pain in the butt
😉 if to be afraid of everything it’s better to seat at home and not to do
nothing… because who knows what can happen to you maybe meteor will fly
from space and heat you… 😉
yes it was a pin to do all this… just because of the broken middle mount
bolt… it’s like to do timing belt and water pump…
