Just bought a 2000 Durango and came across your video. Now I’m ready (lets
hope never need it) if it does need to be changed. Thanks for taking the
time to make this. Looks like you have helped several people out. That’s
what the YouTube Community is all about! How has your 2004 been for you?

WOW! When I made the Video, I wasn’t thinking about someone getting a flat
on the highway. I was thinking just changing the tire in the driveway. I
thank you for your comments and glad you found this video to be of service.

Awesome video…I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab…directions were
basically the same except the “small metal bar” was in a different
location…I’ve been driving around with the spare in the bed for years now
because I never took the time to figure out how to put it back on…with
this awesome video I learned in minutes…Thanks MR. sb…I just read your

Thanks…Ran over a bit of water on the road which turned out to be a
crater… Split the sidewall and couldn’t figure out how to drop the spare.
Thanks for the help and for taking the time to post this.

where all of those hidden parts or that would be a blessings

mrstoneyboner says:

Thank you, I’m glad my video was there for you. Made me smile when I first
read this because I didn’t even think of anyone looking at it while on the
road. I was only thinking of someone just simply changing a tire at home.

Thanks a mil for the post. My stupid owner’s “manual” only says that the
spare is for limited use. Nothing about how to lower it. So here I am, on
the internet.
