I also show in detail you how to clean your engine toward the end of this video. I give torque specs, recommendations, part numbers as well as tips.
This video did not turn out as good as I hoped, and, I do apologize in advance. However, there is a wealth of information throughout.

Cooling fan mounting to fan clutch———————-15 ft lbs
Fan clutch mounting (left-hand threads)————-42 ft lbs

So, I have a 2011 4.7l v8 1500. Everything I can find says to turn that nut clockwise, but mine was actually counter clockwise. Any idea why mine was different?
Doing this job this weekend. Thanks for the info!
Dude you are good…FYI to everyone go buy a fan clutch tool and never spend another knuckle busting moment removing. I did 3 5.4 3v and was hoping for a break and your instructions nailed it
You bleeding you wather pump?
I was about to pay a local mechanic to change mine (mainly because I am done working on my vehicles nowadays). The cost for labor was quoted at $400 plus parts. After watching your video I decided to do it myself and saved $400 plus the markup of parts. Great video and sorry for the mistakes you made but that is what your video great for us so we don't. My 2014 Ram is back on the road running great again. Thank you

Terence, you The Man! My water pumps about to go out and this video will help tons! I know its been over a yr since you made this video but with that said, hope alls good with your little boy. Thanks again.
Why did you end up replacing the water pump ? Overheating?
My man, only water pump vid on a 4th gen I’ve seen. Lmk if this would make sense? Driving the Power steering went out, I limped home only a mile out but while omw I shut my AC off & the power steering came back. Popped the hood & water coming out from the area of the water pump but I can’t pin point it. 3-4 days before this happening the belt (I’m assuming) started to squeal. After watching your video I’m pretty confident I can put a new pump in but not sure if that will totally solve my problems. But great Vid and the template idea is spot on
