My Timing Belt keeps riding up on the rail of the crankshaft pulley. It looks to me like the crankshaft pulley is not exactly in line, but I’m wondering if the tensioner is the culprit? Thanks, I just noticed after a DIY waterpump/thermostat replacement on a 94 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9L V6!
very helpfull,, thanks a lot !!
You have no idea how helpful this was. I was about ready to pick the truck up I was so upset I literally thought I could. I had no idea how to put the belt back on after I replaced the alternator! THANK YOU!!

If you want to disconnect it,it won’t hurt anything.
Do you have to disconnect the battery, since you are messing with the coil?

thanks man. did my ram in about 30 min….had to wait for PB Blaster…a breeze
excellent just what I needed !!
Very good video guys!
But, you don’t have to remove the airbox or lower harness of the coil. Plenty of room with the airbox in there and the harness is long enough to just lay the coil out of the way.
Using this video, I did mine in about 20min and eliminated my squeaky belt.
Thanks!
Thanks.
Thanks, Mike I didn’t know you had to remove the coil to get at this bracket, but it’s no big deal to do that.
