Dominic Echevestre says:

I have a 04 stratus. I replaced the resistor 2 months ago. Now the air
doesn’t blow at all. Should I replace the fan?

NateSlack says:

When doing this I broke the plastic cover that the wiring passes through.
Is it possible to order a new one of these? I reassembled without it and I
think it is what forces the air through the front end to heat it up. My
blower works but it doesn’t come through the vents.

My AC is not working on my ’99 dodge durango, and it was checked for leaks
and holes but was clear from that. My heat works fine but my ac will not
work and the freon was charged, but it ran cool for like a little bit but
is now blowing hot air what could be the problem?

hp11208 says:

is the ac compressor easy to change on this?

1A Auto Parts says:

@GraniteTH It’s attached to the blower motor when you remove it from the
housing under the glove box.

kmwebb21 says:

Is there a way to find out on my own without a mechanic, and how do I
repair it??

1A Auto Parts says:

The changing of the compressor on most vehicles are straight forward but
the recharging and discharging cannot be done by most without the correct
vacuum pump and fittings to correctly connect to the lines.

1A Auto Parts says:

@kmwebb21 You could test the connection going to the blower motor with a
test light to see if there’s power going to it. If there is then the blower
motor has more than likely gone bad.

Dwite Murfin says:

How much do I AC/Heater fans normally cost?

B34STYxWELLMAN says:

Never mind lol.

1A Auto Parts says:

unfortunately because you need special equipment and you need to be
certified to work on A/C equipment, we do not have any video on replacing
the compressor.

1A Auto Parts says:

We carry them on our website 1aauto.com You can view the current pricing
there. Thanks for watching.

1A Auto Parts says:

@newhere0 You very well could have an air pocket in the heating system.
When the car is cold take the radiator cap off blast the heat and start the
car. Let the car get up to temperature itself. Do not rev the motor. When
the car is up to temp check the level of the fluid in the radiator and add
antifreeze if it’s low. Do this until the level of the fluid in the
radiator remains at the top, and then put the cap back one. Hope this helps
out.

GraniteTH says:

Where’s the fan cage?

kmwebb21 says:

I am having trouble with my heat in my 2001 intrepid. It only comes on
sometimes, usually in the morning after the car has set for 12 hours or
more, but when it does come on it does blow heat, and it stays on, but once
I turn the car off it does not come back on.. Can this be that the fan
blower is going out, or is this possibly something else. Antifreeze level
is good. It has me puzzled. Never had a problem with it before. Can you
share your diagnosis with me??

marc4232 says:

I really appreciate you guys expertise. I have a 2000 intrepid with the 3.5
in it do you have any videos on replacing the compressor on that set up?

Jaeger311 says:

The AC wouldn’t blow at all in my girlfriends Intrepid and sure enough it
was the blower motor. Thanks to this video I was done in 15 min!

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to see if the clutch is working correctly on the AC
compressor. It should kick off and on when the AC is running.

1A Auto Parts says:

@kmwebb21 It may be the blower motor resistor or it could even be an air
pocket trapped inside of the system.

Ben says:

Hi my fan works also the but I only can get cold air. The heating only
works for less than ten seconds when the car is hot, do you know if this is
the part I need to replace. Thanks.
