Once you locate the brake lamp switch you twist left (counterclockwise) and pull. Once you pull, the switch will come right out. The switch will be connected to the wiring connector. All you have to do is pull the gray wiring connector apart from the switch, once removed install the new one. When installing you will see the opening of where you removed the switch make sure you line up the extended clip (with black marker line) to the square opening. Would this cause my cruise control to not work? I had a starter go bad, it literally roasted, replaced the starter, now my cruise control won't turn on, no cruise light on the dash. 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 big horn. Does my truck have a fuse or relay for the cruise control? It was working fine until the starter roasted. Could it have shorted something out? Thanks

My car is stuck on parking gear. I can’t shift it to Reverse, Neutral or Drive. What could cause the issue?
