Robert Moore says:

I was wondering if you could help me. I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 with the
5.9 engine. It recently started taking longer to start. when you turn the
key, it turns over about 3 times and then starts normal. when the issue
happens, it takes several seconds turning over then starts. there is no
rough idling, all gauges appear normal. I also have a 2004 dodge intrepid
3.5 HO that had similar problem, and it was the cam sensor. any help would
be appreciated !

Tyler Auer says:

I have the same problem with the suction noise from time to time and rough
idle I believe it’s the IAC sensor in the back of the throttle body, does
anybody know the original size spark plug wire the oem that comes on the
5.9l

NvDubs250 says:

Damn dude pressure wash your engine my god.

Eric Horn says:

You are a complete Idiot !! The cylinder no.s are ;left side of engine
1,3,5,7,;Right side of engine 2,4,6,8; Distributor firing order is
1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2.

I subscribed to your channel @DECIPLESgarage strictly because of the horse
diagram you so happened to illustrate next to the firing diagram ! … that
was beautiful! haha

Jim Patterson says:

You did a great job on this video. I thought the part about dropping your
4S Iphone was hilarious!! I’ll drink a beer for ya! Just bought a 1998
Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 Sport with 108K miles. Just wanted to see how difficult
it would be to do the tune up and your video showed me how easy it was. Way
to go brother! Is there a follow up on this vid?

TheDayonaise says:

did you guys ever figure out the bad idle and throttle body suction issue?

totljag1 says:

Jordan Coryell says:

UncaTuck says:

I like O’Reilly’s too. My Ram is only getting 9mpg. How much better should
it get with a tune-up?

Kyle Rhoden says:

Lol It’s 1,3,5,7 right, 2,4,6,8 left. Me and my dad hated changing this on
his Dodge because of where its placed.

spelunkerd says:
