#333-Pro Flo 4 Install. It's good. VERY good.

#333-Pro Flo 4 Install. It's good. VERY good.

I replaced my AVS2 carb with an Edelbrock Pro Flo 4. In this video I take you through the entire installation process from beginning to end. I even fire it up and drive it after going through the startup wizard.

If you want to help offset some of these costs (I pay for everything myself), consider donating at my Patreon: https://patreon.com/mattsgarageshow?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator

I do not cover the fuel system which I talk about in episode 331, and I don’t over installation of the O2 sensor bung because I already had one welded into my exhaust to run and AFR gauge for tuning my carb. I bought the kit without the tablet and just bought a Samsung Galaxy A9+ from amazon.

For the fuel pressure regulator I used a Holley unit since I already had a Holley carb fuel regulator and the bodies are identical so mounting is easy.

For the special fuel fitting, I bought an Evil Energy 180degree AN fitting to shoot the fuel back in the direction of the regulator. I thought the install was very straighforward.

I did the teardown in episode 332 in about 45 minutes. I did the install in this episode in a day. Basically a 5 hour session on a saturday and another hour on Sunday. Totally do-able weekend upgrade if you have all the parts. I would just get a bung welded into the exhaust at an exhaust shop before hand.

Feel free to reachout at mattsgarageshow@gmail.com if you have questions, though I’m not an expert. Honestly, once it is setup, you don’t need to mess with it.

That is so cool. I've really enjoyed following along on your EFI installation. I've purchased the Sniper 2 for my Bronco project, as well as their distributor with timing control. It will be interesting to see if it installs as smoothly as yours. I'm very pleased that your Bronco is back on the road and running so well. Time to get the top on and have some winter fun. Merry Christmas!!!

Outstanding! Great job Matt. Seems like a great option for fuel injection. Can't wait to hear how it works out long term.

Please don't do these premiere placeholders, they are infuriating when I go to watch a video and see that it won't be released for several days. Just release it when it's done and we can all enjoy it with a frosted malt beverage and talk about what a great guy Matt is for sharing all this knowledge. 🙂
