2011 2015 Dodge Durango Starter Replace How to Remove Install No Start Just Clicks 2013 2012 2014

Here I show you how to remove and install  the starter in your Dodge Durango should go 2011 through 2015 and 3.6 L size engine. You would know your starter is bad if you hear a clicking noise when you go to start it or it just does nothing. make sure to check your battery first because this can also cause a similar no start bad starter condition.

Fantastic job explaining the small details, which are the most crucial. One of the few people I've seen actually explain the important bits, and explain them very well! Great job man, keep it up!

roberto kristen says:

how long do you suggest the time required to do it the same way ?

roberto kristen says:

can we do this job without raising the engine by another lift ??

Thanks for the video! Helped me understand what I was getting into. Definitely will save you time if you understand the size of bolts beforehand. 15mm bolts for the mounts and starter. I had to use a swivel at the end of my extension to remove the starter bolts. It’s a wiggle game with the mount. Good luck.

Trying to start my wife’s 2011 Durango. Foot on brake, press start, lights come on and nothing from the engine. Is the starter bad? Where would you start? Thx for the tips!

Sal hamdan says:

I been a mechanic for 38 years and never posted a video but watching all this videos that have a click bait on them makes me sick, removing an engine in 10 minutes ,replacing as starter in 30 minutes and rebuilding transmission in 5 minutes, if any mechanic wants to educate the public to screw up his fellow mechanics at least be honest and put a detailed video from A to Z and the tools that are used and maybe the brand and the cost of the tools

Caz something says:

If you buy oem you can do the starter in 20 Min. Oe is smaller than remans and can work it out easily without removing motor mount.

Eric Horning says:

This is good on anything but AWD. Front driveshaft from transfer case has to come out

Sholokov says:

Is the starter for the V8 engine in the same location? And is it the same starter.
