I just got off the phone with the guys from hid extra.com and he said the bi-xenon doesnt work well with the newer dodges and has had things not go so well with costumers in the past who bout the bi-xenon kit. He recommended the kit that @johnsn10 bought. The volt canbus series. And for the fog lights you can buy the standard signature seriers 9006.
I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 sport, with the 5.7 hemi. I want my high and low beams to be HID. So do I need to buy the 9007 bi-xenon kit??? And then for fog lights buy the standard 9006 kit?? Any comments would be helpful?

That halogen bulb is meant for running lights to avoid error codes on your dash. It’s really useless as a high beam. Its best to get a wire harness with high beam function and disable your running lights or… get a d2s Morimoto retrofit from TRS
Didn’t mean hid nation sorry was typing and watching video again look at protuning lab they have great products and cheap prices and why did you take out the tinted lights thy looked bad ass with the black truck

I can understand wanting a halogen high beam, but the halogen highs on HIDs are almost completely useless. Buddy of mine got a similar kit. They aren’t meant to be highs. They’re just meant to be cheap and comply with state laws that require you to have a separate high beam.

You got scammed dude I paid 40 for my kit lol and the hologen high beam blows it’s a h1 bulbs like the one in your license plate so it’s completely useless

so i found the canbus kit for beams on hidextra for my 06 ram 1500 and theyre like 120$. is this really worth it? i dont want a kit and have to get the capactiors and relay harness ya know? thnks.
Oh great, another person who bought a cheap conversion kit and puts them in headlights made for halogens (flood pattern) rather than headlights made for HIDs with HID projectors (focused beam). Im sure on coming traffic will just love you. Just because they fit doesnt mean you should do it. Spend some money and get some HID projectors retrofitted in them.

Ballast sitting in air box, HID in halogen housing, PVC (cold air intake) that sucks more hot air than the stock unit would, and you type in all caps…. You’re THAT guy.

I did this with my Dodge Nitro and my Fog lights also ran from the TPIM… I needed CanBUS for both the headlights and the foglights…
