2001 Dodge Durango Intermediate Shaft Replacement

Our Rango had a clicking noise with a lot of play back and forth. The Intermediate shaft was the culprit.

Working on this now got both bolts out without cutting any plastic but the
part at the boot that is supposed to slide will not budge no matter how
many times I hit it with a hammer I might drop the pinion to get it out of
blow through a few packs of saw zaw blades to get it off.
