I did this on my 2001 5.9 24v Ram and it was loose but, as I barely snugged it down I felt it strip…pretty sure it wasn't from me but, a previous owner. Now trying to figure out the best way to fix it. Anyone else dealt with this before?
Went out and tried this after replacing crankshaft sensor and still had a check engine lite. Fixed my problem and all codes went away and no chk eng lite. Thank you!

I think this worked for me too, in conjunction, with changing some fuses, and shaking some wires
I tried with vise grips but it keeps slipping off the bolt
