My Neon didn’t have any issues, funny thing is, EVERY Chrysler loaner had
that annoying alarm, first enounter on a Dodge Pickup (the small one, name
escapes me right now). It took until the 2nd loaner to figure out exactly
how to kill the alarm. This is the 3rd loaner, and yep, same alarm. Figure
I’d show it, in case anyone else comes across that odd setup. I hate the
all-electric way of things, just because what if the battery in the car, or
fob(s), died? Ford is like that.

Not a lot of Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge’s have alarms. You have to get a separate
security package. Second, if you do have the alarm, it takes about 15-30
seconds for it to arm after its been locked…
