Overheating Chrysler 200 Leaves Me Walkin 🤬

Overheating Chrysler 200 Leaves Me Walkin 🤬

In this video I bring you along as I have a look at a customers Chrysler 200 that has an issue over heating. It sure seemed to have the classic head gasket symptoms but we still had to prove it. Ends up the head gasket is nuked and the car also has another issue the customer neglected to tell us…. it quits at random times 😐. Yeah…. that would have been nice to know.
-Enjoy!

Jim Small (EIMB) says:

These Chryslers seem to have a lot of problems. One would think that after 100 years they'd know how to build cars that don't break down all the time. But I'm an idiot. What could I know?

Bryan Godfrey says:

It was Mrs. O!!! She was the culprit!! No idea why they made these things…..

I had a similar problem in my van. It was the oil cooler that cracked.

Jolie Maui says:

Remind me of a job I one did. Everything seem to work perfect. But the engine just continue to get hotter and hotter even after the fan turned on. The engine had some DIY work. Did some work to the electric fan wires. Everything however seemed to work perfectly. He would heat up that would be flow and the electric fan Turned on when it was supposed to. Just by chance I happen to notice the blades of the fan turning in a direction which actually brought air from the engine to the radiator. The customer had reversed the wires and since it was a DC motor it still ran but it ran in reverse. So when the fan kicked on it was actually heating up the antifreeze.

L A says:

Much credit to you for accepting the work.

Ronald Johnson says:

Eric, your father created a powerhouse team. Your brother has the towing & heavy trucks covered, and you have all of the remaining automotive bases covered.
