That squealing noise is a sign that it’s time for a new serpentine belt. Or sometimes it’s a pulley bearing. The drive belt kit from TRQ has you covered in either event. Often, it’s better to replace them all at once. This video shows you how to replace the serpentine belt, tensioner, and idler pulley on your 2011-14 Chrysler 200.

I’ve been fighting this car for over 4 hours and finally got it done thanks to your video. Thanks!!!

That's bloody ridiculous to have to remove all of those shields, etc., to replace such a common maintenance item. I definitely see why it's wise to replace all of the idlers and tensioners when you replace the belt.

You have the right temperament to work on such vehicles that were put together by imbeciles. I'd be apoplectic removing all of that stuff to do what should be a relatively simple job. Thanks for the video showing me why I won't do that job on my friend's C200. No how, no way. That's going to her indy, where they'll charge 2-3 hours labor and use all of it. Geez.

BTW, did you disconnect the battery to disable the airbag? I don't see any other reason when there's nothing "shortable" on the belt side.

Is it the same process for a 3.6?
