great vid . thank you for all your help.
I just wanted to say very great video bro you really show hot to do it very
good with great camera angels and you speak really good on really what to
do step by step literally step by step this video is done very well and
honestly one of the best I have seen if I had a video to show a brake
change first timer I would defiantly suggest this video hands down great
video bro
Great video, Chris! I have a couple questions and wanted to make sure I
have my steps down correctly before trying it myself. I am only replacing
the front calipers.
1. before putting on new calipers, bleed brakes so none of the old fluid
gets into the new calipers. I’m going to do all 4 brakes and completely
flush the lines.
2. replace calipers as shown in this video.
3. gravity bleed brakes until new fluid comes out of the bleeder.
4. bleed brakes again?? Just bleed the front brakes??
Not sure where to go from there or if I missed something. Thanks!
chris i’ve watched about 5 of your videos so far. you do a great job
filming with close ups and getting the right shot. and then you back it up
with very clear verbal explanations. you have a knack for how-to videos.
nice work!
for a man on a budget sear wanted 500,00$ for caliper to be replaced I am
confident I will be able too complete this by myself thanks for the
instructional video
Nice video, but shouldn’t you refill your reservoir to almost the exact
point it was before you bled the brakes? Otherwise wouldn’t you get
problems with pads and warning lights?
wow its funny that are cars have thesame brake parts its like you were
workin on my truck dont for get too put antiseaz on your bleader screw
excellent video. I was replacing pads and rotors and on one side piston was
seized. I had to replace caliper and this vid made is very simple. Thanks
for you efforts… appreciate it
Your videos keep getting better and better! Awesome camera angles and very
detailed! Easily one of the best and most complete caliper videos out
there.
Here i got 3 working brakes on my car cause i could not bleed one in the
rear because it was seized. BUT brakes work surprisingly well!
nice video! congratulations!
How much power (newton)wants 6:15?
Awesome stuff, Chris. Thanks.
On a different note: Since I’ve been watching your videos, I’ve been
racking my brain trying to remember who you sound like. I was stationed at
Redstone Arsenal Alabama, in the early 90’s, with a guy by the last name of
“Beck”. He was from New Jersey and his girl friend was going to Rutgers at
the time. I just had to get this out of my head. Thanks for your video’s!!
Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for posting the video, was really
helpful to watch before doing it myself just to boost the confidence in the
how-to aspect, pretty much knew what to do but always helps to watch
someone else do it first
Very good video and well photographed
Great video probable the best that I have seen so far keep it up and thanks
for the uploads
Do you really need thread lock on the bolts? Or did you put it just to be
on the safe side? I don’t have thread lock on my caliper or bracket bolts,
and everything is solid as a rock!
Thanks for a great video!
Great videos. Thanks for the help.
Smashing :-))
From many videos ive enjoyed: Tap the back of the caliper to release any
stubborn air before you finally close the bleed nipple.
Do you send the old caliper back to be reconditioned?, i hear this a lot
from ericthecarguy.
Well done video. Very detailed and helpful.
man i went to toyota , made me pay for 900 dollar brake job… this vid
coulda save me .. thanks though .. i want to change my back caliper, this
vid helped
Well done .
you’re a lifesaver man. I need to replace my calipers and pads, your
video’s are a great reference. hope the best for you
Your videos are awesome !! You have a very calm and clear way of explaining
things. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks from Scotland:)
chris where did you get the torque of each screw?
