What size do I get for an upgrade? I was looking at ebay to find one bit I don't know how to figure out what fits. I have 2010
These radios don't need security codes? The radio I'm asking about is the base Uconnect 130 which appears to be the same radio that you are removing.
I have to say I cringed a bit when you stated that a butter knife may work better than a screw driver. They make plastic body panel pry tools that will not mar the panels and dirt cheap. Then when you just let the radio hang down where its sharp metal edges can scrape against the vehicles panel faces below where most would tape a towel or something across to prevent possible scratches. I think "get in / get out car stereo thieves take more precautions than seen in this video. Granted you did answer the question of what is envolved to access the stereo for removal so thanks for taking the time to make this video.
