i have a crysler 2007 sebring and it played beore until i tried getting it
out wit a knie now it wont lol…. help me man please i just bought it
will it work ater will the next cd get stuck
Did the cd/dvd player work after you pulled the discs out it? Were you
skeptical that they’d just be stuck again? I’ll be tackling this issue
tomorrow for the CD/DVD changer and I’d like to know if I should be
sticking discs back in to it or if the thing is shot. Lights blink the same
as you said…
Wow, this vid was so helpful. My mom was on me bout getting a stuck cd out
of her Dodge Neon & I tried various ways w/ no avail. Of course it’s a diff
car, but the mechanics where the same. I got the cd out, but it’s reading
that there is 1 inside. Any tip on how 2 fix that (tried putting a cd in &
won’t go in)? Either way I got it out, thanx!

question #2: why didn’t you show exactly how to remove the stuck cd for the
novice like me, could you have removed more parts on cd player

Awesome! I ran outside and grabbed my CD player and then followed right

Awesome! Gonna have to try this. I have a Sienna with a 6 disc changer and
a cd stuck inside it. The player will not eject the cd or load a cd into
the sixth slot as it does not recognize a cd being there.
I only have a single Disc cd player/radio, but hopefully this will give me
a idea (or generally the same as 4 or 6 players as some of you all might
have) to get CD out… It is original player that came with car, and plan
to install new one. so hopefully can get cd out when i take it out…

I just hooked it back up and I haven’t had a problem. I try that trick,
then I found that I had more CDs stuck Inside. So that’s why I made the
video. I repaired so many cd players, you would be so surprise what I have
found inside of them. Thanks for the comment!
Great help…have the 6 cd changer and was getting the light show you
described…unfortunately, my problem is not stuck CDs but it just so
happens the cd slot lines up perfectly with the cup holder…cd players do
not play liquids very well. Thanks for the help!
hey dave, i have a question, how do i prevent more cds from getting stuck
in the future? like if they got stuck in the first place, is there
something i can do to the cd player to stop cds from getting stuck again?

Dave, you saved my bacon! I had trouble maneuvering the CD’s out, so used
pmhuter’s trick in her video “How to remove a disc from your car,” to help
pull the CD’s out after dismantling the CD player. So, did your CD player
have flashing lights after you hooked it back up? Did the player work well
after this? Our CD player’s lights are flashing…wondering if we need a
new one?

This was a great “how to” video, it’s exactly what’s going on with my 2005
chrys. t&c. but Why? are the cds getting stuck. This happens about every
eight weeks to my cd player which is just a 1 cd player.
