Gary B says:

This on a Dodge Charger RT – muffler+reso deletes = Pure bliss!

Nathan Ace says:

That’s not a cai I don’t know why people keep saying it is. Or the air
hammer also in not cai. They are short rams. They don’t get cold air.
Unless you mod the hole under the filter

It looks good thoe but I would still prefer a real cold air intake. Like
from SP or the Mopar cai

Roberto Rivera says:

My best 0-60 time is 5.94, remind you my car is all stock.

abdulmoe says:

6.2 thats it mine is stock doing it at 5.3 i did the diablo tune cat back
exsuast afe stage 2 im doing it now in 5 seconds quartermile 13.2

SERGIO DELUNA says:

i like it.. but hate to see the engine bay like that.

HemiPete says:

OK…did my first 0-60 run…6.20 on a slightly curving road. Don’t know
what it was before my mods.

dmacid says:

It is in kilometers per hour, pretty much the same as 160mph one that comes
with the American version.

Roberto Rivera says:

Try the BLASTING BOB’S pipes..as a reso delete choice. What are your 0-60
times before and after? You have an 0-60 timer right in your cluster which
comes on from a dead stop till you hit 60 MPH at WOT. ( Wash the handson
motor)

Roberto Rivera says:

HEMIPETE, Get the “Oil Catch Can”, remove the AFE intake tube and look into
the throttle body while u open it up with you hand while the car is off and
you will see all the sludge built up from the blow by, the catch can
filters out the oil build up in the throttle body. Remove the throttle body
by removeing the 4 bolts and use WD-40 to clean it up and then reinstall
the throttle with the 4 bolts and get the can. Let me know what you think
about the blastin bobs, I want to get a set as well.

David Rules says:

Where did you buy the speedo with that high of a max speed

MSBomb says:

sounds better. Only thing stopping me from getting CAI im worried about
rainy days.

HemiPete says:

Thanks for the cool tips! I have just ordered a set of 6 dB Blastin Bob’s
pipes (should give me a much better sound without any droning). I have
never measured the 0-60 time, but I don’t imagine it would have improved
much just by adding the CAI. From what I’ve heard, shoudn’t expect much
improvement unless exhaust upgrade (cat back) & Diablo Predator tunes were
also added.

citykid2k says:

@abdulmoe I hit 5.5 0-60 100% stock. Just some premium fuel and octane
booster.

Roberto Rivera says:

WORTH IT? ANY OHER MOMDS?

HemiPete says:

Rainy days are no problem. The stock air box is a CAI, with the intake
ducting below the filter. It is routed through an air silencer which takes
in air inside the fender. By adding an aftermarket CAI, you are not
changing any of the ducting that feeds the air filter, only the filter
itself and the ducting that feeds into the throttle body.

hahaschwow says:

I get 5.1 all day every day with fat pipes cat back 2.5 mild and mopar cai

HemiPete says:

This is my first mod. I am considering a reso delete as the next step as I
don’t find that the CAI alone gives me the sound I’m looking for, which is
somewhere between stock (too tame) and full cat back replacement (too loud).

Roberto Rivera says:

Opps if you don’t know how o get into the 0-60 timer, just hold down the
music button and the compass button on your steering wheel at the same time
for appox 6 secons in your will go into dieangostic mode and you can also
check out water temp, MPH and RPM’s in digital format. ETC….

MSBomb says:

@HemiPete oh true, cool man Thanks for the help.
