Viking 2121 says:

My 99 suburban got them oil cooler lines, I just replaced them, one of them like blew up and I had oil everywhere, They are not fun to do on a 4×4, the oil filter sits sideways, above the front drive shaft, not to mention the transmission brace that I could not get a socket on it, had to take it off with wenches and maybe a 10th of a turn, it sucked! No room to do anything, I was about to drop the diff. Took better part of 5 hours lol. At least that old thing is just 2wd, way more room around the oil filter area!

Also you can buy plugs for that oil filter kit that just plugs where the lines come from, I've done it on a few chevy trucks over the years where people didn't want to keep the oil cooling part of the system.

Great content, love this wrecker. Is there a way to hook up to a trailer? Some kinda receiver hitch?
Did you build the work bench with vice stored underneath or buy it?

Helloverlord says:

By the look at that leaf spring, that frame has no other option but to snap again…

Ted Gerstenslager says:

Standard Chevrolet oil filter adapter will allow a normal spin on filter. Melling MFA350 $20.

brian winters says:

First time watcher here , I've worked my whole life in truck and trailer shops, I think you did a fine job on this , next time it'll probably be going to the scrap yard .

I'll have to show my father in law those brackets you found, he's been running wreckers and ramptrucks for years. They didn't look familiar but he would know.

chrismyers043 says:

I work with people that are insanely afraid to weld on a frame and have ridiculous claims about the law on it… I don’t see how if you fix it and it doesn’t cause an accident, you’re good.. Everything I weld is better than factory since factory is bare minimum…

Brendan Mccool says:

Love man. What a cool project truck. Nice add to the fleet

Benjamin Smith says:

Great job on that c30 I love it. When using the wheel lift not sure if you know you suck it in and then you put it out just like 4 inches. so it can turn like it's supposed to when you're going around turns. Hope that was helpful.

Todd Swenson says:

Need on board air compressor on wrecker
