Late last fall I picked up this 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup from the family of the original owner in northwestern North Dakota. They had placed it in a fence row in 2007 after 40 years of service on the ranch. Let’s see if we can get the old small block to come back to life after a long slumber! If you’re interested in purchasing this pickup it is in the as shown condition at the end of the video with the engine removed. C'mon, these trucks were junk when they were new. Fifty-five years has not improved them. That's what I don't get. Even if they were restored to like new condition, there is still no quality there.
If you built that engine into a 400 that looks like a 327 or just rebuild it period I'll trade 2 engines for it lol

Non running 69 327 but it has new comp cam needs bearing for it still has original ones in it unless u wanna feel brave an send it lol , lifters , push rods ,an new plugs , an new distributor all new gaskets an timing chain an gears, new oil an the filter , with new carburator even tho it don't look new now an only has 3miles on it an the oil before I pulled to rebuild but all new gaskets beside head gaskets someone stole my new gaskets an I think that's it not sure but 2nd… Is a Running 78 305 with new oil an filter only 4miles on it that's before I put new timing chain an gears since it jumped time, new plugs an new distributor new alternator plugs wire's new gaskets on it beside head gaskets I got em but ain't put em on I think that's it on that one also an the 305 is in my truck took the 327 out to rebuilt it's a great condition block an theirs a video of the truck running on my YouTube channel

ok, i'd say you've got tow truck hook ups down pat now. if somebody bitches about that hook up, there're just crying fer something to do. these are my fave truck body style of all time. i've had at least one of every flavor. i like the grills in the 71 chevys the bestest.
Every construction company whether it be road, building, lumber yard, whatever, had one of these Chevy C10s. They were only about $1800 each new.
I know what Henry Js are. Once upon a time, when I was a young man, I knew where there were 3 or 4 of those in Iowa. At least one of them was a running driving car. They weren't that rare when I was in high school. There were lots of Hudsons and Kaiser-Frazers around too. I also knew where there were 4 1936 Hupmobiles. I don't know much about them but they must have been high-end cars because they had radios in them.
