Didn't describe what you mean by jumping the switch
So a couple months back it was blowing warm so I recharged it to around 55 psi (it was a 90 degree day) and it was doing great but yesterday it all of a sudden stopped working so I hooked a refill gauge up and it was reading 104 and it’s blowing warm. I know for a fact 104 is insane so what could be the isssue
sometimes i can be more than one problem, i recharged it when the pump wouldnt kick on after that i get 50F-60F at stop light and when im moving or on the hwy i get 40F-50F, this is a 20yo truck with 230k miles on the ac pump / clutch
its the low pressure switch and theres another pressure switch some call it the high pressure switch closer to the compressor hard line

My 07 Classic keeps blowing the 10 A fuse under the hood. Also clutch sounds pretty bad on the compressor when AC is not on when just free wheeling it. Pressure is right around 33 to 38. Ice cold when working for 10 minutes and then the fuse pops.
@Matt'sshop my ac compressor kicks on but doesn't cool. I can feel the line get cold between the high and low. Right in between them thats where it drops in temperature. If I try to open the high side it starts to leak pressure.
2003 suburban, I changed the compressor and it doesn't turn on, I checked the fuses, I put in the frion and the next day it doesn't turn on anymore, what could it be?
