Do you need to take the engine mount off to replace a broken belt? I cant find a vid for a 2011 equinox. There's older vids where they had to

hanDIY man says:

I replaced my alternator, but my serpentine belt came off.

Jennifer moore says:

I just paid $832 to replace the alternator on my 2012 V6. The dealership wanted $1200. Crazy

Paul Suarez says:

Looking at all has been said! Thank you, looking forward to seeing more!

I cant find anything for 2010 3.0 engine

Curtis Braun says:

HI, I have a 2016 chev equinox (2.4L) and I checked the voltage while car was running (under load with lights, radio, heat on) and it's sitting at 15.2, is this too high? If so, I might need to replace my alternator?

Head Over Bars says:

Huge Time Saver I could have figured out how to change it. I've change alternators before, but it's the little things like removing that stud and not fighting with the AC lines that make this such a great video, thank you very much… this is exactly why the internet is so powerful I would argue that I'm orders of magnitude more capable than any of my ancestor before me

M V says:

I can’t get the stud out, it’s too tight and starting to strip. What should I do?

Christopher Mathern says:

Thanks for the tip on the stud. I have to do this tomorrow

Ad White Eyes Music says:

Its the same process with a 2011 equinox v6???

David Barthel says:

Much easier than Ford's DOHC which is buried underneath and impossible.
