Will this fix my problem? When I go to start it. It doesn’t make any noise whatsoever. I have to keep trying to turn it on until it does.

That is about the same setup inside my 2006 Chevy silverado 1500 crew cab. I was having a problem when I was driving to work last week and the engine completely die and wouldn't crank back up.

Well I finally got towed back to my apartment and on Friday brought a code reader and checked the check engine light and had the P0335 code come up for the crankshaft position sensor and I changed it out and rehooked all my wiring back and didn't have any crank. Then undo the wiring again and had my alternator and starter tested and those passed good. My battery was also good since it was brand new.

I also checked the minifuses in the engine fuse center and I replaced the relay for the starter relay as well as the relay for the crank. And I still have no start.

And another note, I also checked the fuel pump and went ahead and changed out under its warranty.

I have fuel and crank but no start. Any suggestions that might be my ignition starter switch could be bad and making it harder the start my truck?
