GM really screwed the pooch on this design. It should be WAY easier to replace a simple bulb.

My grill is hooked into the bumper. It does not lift up

Thank you for the tutorial. It was very helpful. I my headlights were so old they started to crack.

Here are some tips that helped me:
1. Use a 1/4" extension instead of a 3/8"s to reach the screw under the headlight.
2. When removing the plastic retainers for the cover, if they're stuck and you're afraid of breaking them because they're brittle and old, spray WD 40.
3. Also spray the grille connectors. When you release the connectors, the tab won't come out all the way out until you're on the other side of the grille.
4. When removing the headlight, look behind the fender where the headlight meets. There's a black plastic piece that's getting in your way. Push this down with a screw driver if you don't have a plastic trim tool to push down with from the front.
5. If you do push down from the front, be careful not to nick the paint.

Good luck!
