Shock absorbers help your vehicle stay stable and safe. Signs of worn out shocks are knocking or bumping noises, loose handling, or a bouncy or bumpy ride. The typical service life of a shock absorber is 50,000 miles, depending on conditions. TRQ shocks and struts are engineered to fit your vehicle perfectly. This video shows you how to install shock absorbers on your 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado.

torkd14 says:

I just replaced the front shocks on my Silverado 1500 4×4 but it has a 2” leveling kit on the front. I had to put the truck on the ground with wheels on to get the shock bolt far enough through the top. Am I going to rip these shocks apart when the truck goes over big bumps? They don’t seem long enough.

Steve H says:

Great concise video. What make/model of locking pliers are those? I'm having trouble finding ones that can fit in there.

And if you live in and around the rust belt always a good idea to put anti-seize on the lower shock bolt as well as your wheel studs
