Great vid…I like to be able to see whats going on in a “DIY” vid through the entire replacement process. As well as hearing the “play by play” part of the the replacement & having the person say the specs of the job (i.e. Socket size[s], placement of electrical line[s], etc.)…
Overall a great vid, keep em’ comin!
great video, you just saved me 500.00. Thanks!
Will this work for a 2005 Chevy Suburban as well ?
no im jeremy
only difference will be a cv axle to deal with
Is it the same for a 4 wheel drive as a 2 wheel drive ?
thats what im here for! thanks for watching!
Ty very much gonna save me about $150.00
I got to say big TKS!!! I´m no tool guy, but your video got me to go down and play on the old rust bucket,,,
fuck yes you have a come and take it tattoo. hell yah.
is this a 2wd?
No sorry it doesn’t
Jimmy?
Is it the same for 95?
About to do this same repair on my 05 silverado…glad I found you!
Thanks Jeremy fountain
i checked them and nothing about 99 gmc jimmy tie rod ends.there is some good stuff you guys have even with other parts but i cant afford to go to a shop and need to replace my back caliper and find out why my steering wheel seem to be needing more turning to turn the wheels.
YES CHECK OUT ERICTHECARGUY BRIANSMOBILE1 REALFIXESREALFAST
I have a 99 gmc jimmy that has a sticking caliper and so when i get the money im going to replace it.i have never done this before and its the rear driver side.is there any videos for this?thanks.
10-1 1/2 dozen to the other what ever gets the job done right? 2 more bolts mught eat up 2-3 minuits
I’ve been back yard mechanic-ing since I was kid, and never once thought to take the caliper off the caliper bracket. I always just went to taking the whole assembly off… Mind = blown
thanks a million for posting this up! might just do this myself instead of getting it done at a shop
Understood….Thanks!
To be honest, I would rather just replace the hub anyway…lol Seems easier.
Bearings are not available by them selves and if you did get them out you would destroy the hub in the process
How about a video about replacing just the bearings and not the entire hub assembly?
NO THE BEARINGS WONT BE SUPPORTED
WHAT YOU GOT BRA?
I own a 99 jimmy I need alot of help with identifying what’s exactly wrong with it plz get back to me
What were the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing? I’m hearing a grinding noise and think it might be the bearings… have never repacked them like I should have been doing. 🙁
is it possible for a 4WD hub assembly to fit a 2WD blazer?
Nice video
Nice video man. I don’t know if anyone else said anything but the only other thing I saw safety wise was your jack handle was down. My old shop teacher was big on making sure it was always up after jacking your car. Lol. Great video though man!
last month I replaced the brake pads, this month I replaced the bearings it sounds a lot better and your video was a big help thanks
I have the same truck… was getting ready to change brake pads, when I noticed you mentioned the grinding noise your wife heard driving. Is that what told you it was the hub too? How can I tell if the hub is bad? My brakes are down to metal… I know, bad girl. Outta work and outta money. Can I get away with just replacing the pads for now?
it’s because its a 2wd, only the 4wd have the hub nut
Great job Sir
