Today we are going to show you how we repaired the loose gear shift knob on our Chevy Cavalier. Ours is a 2003 but it should work for any 1995-2005 Chevy Cavalier. Our gear shifter knob kept falling off and was really loose so we will show you how we repaired it and tightened it. We will show you how we secured our chevy cavalier gear shifting knob. for the main part of the shifter what is the yellow rod that you set the knob onto. mine is broken and im not sure what thats called to replace it. i am working on a 2001 cavalier base. if you know thanks in advance.
