I got a question- I ordered a set of 1 inch spacers. After seller ships I
realized that my lug nut studs are 14mm and my spacers are for 12mm. Would
they still slid on and just be tight or not work at all? Thanks…

Karl L. says:

Wheel spacers should only be used with longer lug studs or bolts unless
they’re <3mm. You're truck is dangerous.

pinkonemd says:

This was a very good video. It helped me understand how to do this.

Csaba Farkas says:

dose that mean that the truck will be more stable ? coz it dose not look
much different…

Steve Rob says:

well done !!

brandon webb says:

You only put the wheel adapters on by hand? No torque. That’s what you
torque the rim onto. Wouldn’t that have to be torque’d onto the truck?

lilseip-B14 says:

Just an fyi your supposed to use blue lock-tite when installing the adapter
there prone to coming loose

DJOgurchik says:

Dude he has a truck noone gets a truck with the idea of street racing
people, dont even mention go fast while dragging a 2000lb bed in the back
for no reason. Go mudding or something

Kole Powell says:

Do you think there was enough thread on the bolts left on the front wheels?
And what size did you go with the wheel spacers. I might put some on my 90
chevy I’m restoring.

domination281 says:

Wheel spacers are dangerous even when they keep you hub centric. They can
cause rust to build up behind them. When the rust breaks/rubs off it
creates a gap and then your wheels get loose

AnthonyJ350 says:

All you’re doing is widening the stance. If you’re worried about handling
make sure your wheels are hub centric when they’re mounted (if you’re
running aftermarket wheels” and I’d run some air shocks to compensate for
the extra weight of the sound system. Also switching to a Bilstein strut or
shock in the front will help a lot because they run cooler and they are
better at dampening when it comes to heavier vehicles.

Frank UHMW says:

yes it’s safe on the highway. very possible the wheel/rim was TIG welded .
the welds are strong as the metal it self. that is a professional service
that they cannot afford to do it wrong.

MyMetroPolice says:

lol kids these days. a good beating would fix you right up.

DJOgurchik says:

lol bitch please, you dust corollas and cavaliers. Im not a truck guy, but
a civic si will beat a raptor in 0-60. Then go rally, dont talk power on
the streets, your go around the corner doing 30 you will flip. Try going 70
on a circular highway ramp. Trucks are made to haul shit for your carpenter
jobs, not to pretend youre driving a dune buggy

eric motsinger says:

ive been thinking about going with a two inch adapter on my truck. any
issues with them? thanks

Kole Powell says:

I got a 1990 chevy 1500 me and my dad are restoring. It actually came out a
the dealership under the name of 350ss. Kinda weird. But we are almost
done, I think i used the same chassis paint you did.

AnthonyJ350 says:

I had the wheel widened because Lightnings of the same era tended to hook
up better with the same profile tire, and speculation was one of the
reasons the lightning had a 9″ wide wheel as opposed to GM’s 8″ wheel. So
spacing the wheel out gave me the clearance and look I needed.

Roderick Patterson says:

You didnt mention torquing the wheel spacer to the hub

AnthonyJ350 says:

Thanks 🙂

AnthonyJ350 says:

Not really. I talked to the tire shop telling them what I was doing and the
275/60R15 is within spec. I’m building a street truck and I still have
plenty of rubber to protect the wheel.

MyMetroPolice says:

lol child. you need your diaper changed.

rzorNvme says:

I have a 5×100 and I’d like to fit 5×120 is that possible

omr1989 says:

is it safe on highway ?

ino yamanaka says:

this video gave the answer to my rims that where half on my 97 tahoe.good
thing i saw this video i was gonna buy new tires and new rims.this is way
cheaper

Jorge Payares says:

That such friend greetings from Venezuela. I have an intersection and as
you know the pcd 105 is very hard to get wheels for this measure quisera
know if there is a 105-114 adapter. I need your help to consegirlo on ebay
and you do me a favor and send me the link of the product or
espesificaciones for I look …. really thank you very much for your help

MyMetroPolice says:

see u act like a child. one day your tiny balls will drop and you will
become a man. maybe in 30 or 40 years though.

TugaLife22 says:

why did you put silicone on the hubs?

MyMetroPolice says:

lol child. In the real world you’d get your teeth kicked out for saying
that. Funny how the only time in your pathetic life you can be “tough” is
behind the computer. lol One day you will mature and be embarrassed about
your behavior. Reality is impossible to avoid. I feel sorry for whoever
birthed you.

alex espi says:

Long story short. Friend of mine had some chrome rims on a old school 4
door mercedez Benz. The. Bolt patter in that vehicle is different from my
altima ’11. But Once I tried the actually rim on my altima it had a
good.fit… Is there anything to look out for?

Spitfire1207 says:

krown spray them…. problem solved….

DUBDUECE05 says:

When i had adaptors I torque them on and never had a problem

AnthonyJ350 says:

I think they’re perfectly fine and safe as long as you buy high quality
ones that keep you hub centric and use a high quality aluminum.

AnthonyJ350 says:

Put anti seize compound to avoid the chance of it seizing to each other.

Christian Cook says:

Looks good bro!!

DJOgurchik says:

Lol 260hp? dude my car has almost 300 at the wheels, NA. Lol if u think ur
truck handles well, go to the dealership and try out a WRX, youre truck has
equivalent handling to chevy prism. we all know u got it to compensate for
the side of ur dick

AnthonyJ350 says:

I agree with your reasoning on the sizing. But given this is a pick up with
no weight in the back, my rational is a bigger “footprint” to hook up. If
you want to be disrespectful with all your comments, that’s your call.

gianpiero lambraño salcedo says:

eso se hace con que intencion

SinBeatz1 says:

i wanted to put spacers on my 98 villager but not sure how the handling
would be after and with a future heavy system

lineidzas2 says:

what about wheels offset on normal cars not on SUV??

ROCKSTAR9808 says:

How much do they cost??

AnthonyJ350 says:

Ya there was still plenty of thread left while using the spacers. 10mm was
the max I was willing to go on this application.

lionieg says:

i want to purchase 2 5×5 adaptors.

AnthonyJ350 says:

If you listen, I mention the actual wheel was also widened. As in the steel
wheel was cut an insert was welded in. Going from a 15X8 to a 15X10 rim.

MyMetroPolice says:

u act like child

AnthonyJ350 says:

Weird. It’s always neat to hear about oddly badged vehicles from the
factory. Mine started out life as a GMC Sierra ST.

AnthonyJ350 says:

Contact these guys in the description. They’ll make whatever spec you want.

Oral Wayne says:

ANTHONY I NEED YOUR HELP I HAVE A CHEVY Z71 TAHOE I LIKE THE STOCK RIMS BUT
NEED WIDER I GOT SCARED AFTER READING ABOUT WHEEL ADAPTERS I WANT TO GO HUB
CENTRIC TELL ME WHAT U THINK my 20″ bend so i need the same look 1″ will do
the trick freetolay72@gmail.com

Codey Knudsen says:

And so everyone else knows depending on the rims your using with these
trucks 1/2 in spacers are the biggest you can go without having to much
trouble other then that the 1 in spacers used on the back are the way to go
