It could be in the same location. You owners manual may also tell you where
it’s located, if your vehicle came equipped with one. Thanks for visiting
us on YouTube. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

What part is the seal? I have liquid on my passenger side floor and was
told that this is normally indicative of a bad cabin air filter seal.

DJSPEXX100 says:

Thanks for this video it helped a lot. Something else that could have been
added is the seal that runs along the windshield above the filter. It
sometimes falls off and rain water gets into the filter/motor and then into
the passenger side floor pan shorting out the amp in the rear window. That
is what happened to ours. Any video tracing down this short in the amp
power wire???

1aauto!!

I have an 1997 chevy lumnia. Is this the same way you change the filter on
the lumnia?

1A Auto Parts says:

@csimons4266 There is not much of a seal. The cabin filter sits up on a
flange so water can not get down in. It may be that the drain on the lower
side of the cowl near the fender is plugged up.

1A Auto Parts says:

What type of an issue are you having with the motor?

1A Auto Parts says:

We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this
repair in the future.

When it rains, water gets in my filter and makes a puddle on my passenger
side floor. What do I look at? I made sure the water gutter is not blocked
too.

I’m having issues getting those clips off. What can I do with out breaking
them?

Stanley Hill says:

THANKS!!!!!!!! JUST DID THIS…..I GO TO REPLACE IT, THERE WASN’T ONE IN
THERE 🙁 THE PREVIOUS OWNER REMOVED IT, AND DIDN’T BOTHER TO PUT A NEW ONE
IN…

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to take a look at the housing to see if it’s cracked, or
somewhere that you can see water getting in from. You could also stay in
the vehicle and have a friend run a garden hose over the area to see if you
can see where it’s coming in from. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
